Gulf Coast Corrosion Prevention You Can Count On

At Coastal Cleanse, we’re proud to be a reputable business serving the Gulf Coast with professional corrosion prevention and salt removal services designed to protect your assets from the harsh coastal environment.

Living and working along the coast comes with benefits—but salt air and moisture can quickly cause damage to vehicles, equipment, and exposed surfaces. Over time, salt buildup leads to rust, corrosion, surface wear, and expensive repairs. That’s where we come in.

Our mission is simple: help you prevent corrosion before it starts by keeping your surfaces clean, treated, and protected on a consistent schedule.

Built for Coastal Conditions

Salt Removal + Protective Barrier = Long-Term Protection

Coastal Cleanse specializes in routine monthly or quarterly corrosion prevention treatments. Each service is designed to remove salt and debris and apply a protective barrier that helps slow corrosion and reduce long-term damage.

Our process includes applying a desalination agent and a corrosion inhibitor, delivered through a high-flow, moderate-pressure rinse to safely clean surfaces while leaving behind a corrosion-inhibiting barrier.

This approach helps:

  • Reduce rust and surface breakdown
  • Extend the life of your assets
  • Lower repair and replacement costs
  • Keep surfaces looking clean and well-maintained

What is Salts Gone

Salts Gone® is an instantly acting chelating agent designed to remove salt and brine while providing long-term protection against corrosion. It consists of three primary components: Chelating agents that neutralize various forms of salt. Corrosion inhibitors to prevent future salt damage. Surfactants (soap) to aid in effective cleaning.

Key Features & Benefits

  • pH Neutral: Safe for use on all vehicle surfaces, including metals, glass, paint, ceramic coatings, wax, vinyl wraps, and more.
  • Highly Concentrated: Each gallon makes 100 gallons of finished solution (1:100 ratio).
  • Versatile Application: Can be applied with or without running water.
  • With running water: Hose-end sprayers, injector boxes, pressure washers.
  • Without running water: Pump sprayers, battery-operated sprayers.
  • Compatible with Undercoatings: Does not emulsify oil, making it safe to use alongside any undercoating product.
  • Eco-Friendly & Non-Hazardous: Biodegradable, safe for users, and does not require gloves or goggles for application.

What Makes Salts Gone® Different?

Unlike many competitors that use acidic formulas to neutralize salt, Salts Gone® is pH neutral. Acidic products can damage surfaces, corrode metals, and pose safety risks to users. Salts Gone® eliminates these concerns while effectively neutralizing salt and preventing corrosion. It is non-toxic, non-caustic, and safe for the environment, making it the superior choice for salt removal and corrosion prevention.

How Does Salts Gone® Work?

Corrosion occurs when salt extracts electrons from metal surfaces, leading to deterioration.

Salts Gone®:

Breaks down salt molecules by separating sodium (Na) and chloride (Cl). Binds to these elements, preventing them from re-forming. Provides a surplus of electrons, replenishing those lost to salt damage. Can help repair damaged surfaces and protect against future exposure to salt and brine. For a visible demonstration, submerge a rusty tool in the concentrate for 24 hours and see the transformation firsthand.

  • How much does it make

One 32 oz Hose-End Sprayer yields up to 25 gallons of finished product. This is enough to treat a 24-foot bay boat around 4-6 times or a pickup truck around 5-7 times.

  • How often should it be applied

Apply as needed, depending on exposure to salt and brine. Use after every snow event, after each boating trip, or as part of a regular maintenance routine around once a month.

  • What about freezing temperatures

Salts Gone® is a liquid that contains no solvents and will freeze in sub-zero temperatures. Simply thaw it out completely, and it will work as good as new. Does it need to be rinsed off?

Rinsing is optional. However, if left unrinsed, it may leave water spots, which can be easily washed off later with water.

Application Methods

Salts Gone is compatible with multiple application methods including

  • Hose-End Sprayers
  • Pump Sprayers
  • Battery-Operated Sprayers
  • Pressure Washers
  • Power Washers
  • Foam Cannons
  • Metering Pumps
